Get to Kensington Market in Toronto and check this shit out. The local designers and artists we sell get any and all artistic freedom, and they're all students or self-taught. The clothing and accessories are made using new and recycled materials; shapes are rethought, colours are married, it's just tasty chaos in here. There's always something new happening, someone new joining the crew, some new idea that's demanding materialization. It's a certain positive energy fix, and it grows by the second.
Cheers for visiting the site, see you at the store

THE RAGE THEORY:
The Rage is force of will to create in order to communicate, regardless of and in direct opposition to existing standards and boundaries. Artistic expression is the medium, and art is a timeless and compelling means of challenging the status quo.
The Rage understands that existing systems must, at some point, fall to make way for a new order. That is how and why it believes in the culture of artists the city of Toronto nurtures. Toronto is THE growing resource for cultural activity in the international metropolitan community. The Rage has assumed its role within Toronto's cultural coming-of-age as champion of the works of its artists.
The Rage advocates conscientious consumer behaviour and habits. Buying local is imperative to keeping community connected, thriving and autonomous. The repercussions of supporting huge corporates are numerous: unacceptable labour practices, lax product standards and strain on natural resources due to large-scale production are a few. Large companies foster homogenous identity, whereas local commercial activity IS the identity.
Artists at The Rage create out of necessity to create, from our surroundings, for our surroundings. We're generating ideas and formulating action faster than clunky corporates who need too much time, money and resources in order to move.
If you're going to spend, spend it on the underground; support operations that work continually to make things better.
GET INVOLVED:
We're always looking for artists to get involved with the store, whether it's for selling, projects, events, installations, the CD compilation. If you have energy and ideas, email us at info@ragetoronto.ca so we can get started!!
